Born in Nagpur to a central government employee, I spent my childhood in various cities and had the fortune to experience various cultures and make friends of varied backgrounds. In school, my passion was Maths and Painting, which led me to Market and Advertising after graduation from Delhi University.

Like every seafarer’s spouse, I gave up my career, first, to sail with my husband and later to take care of my children. During the social media revolution, I reconnected with my childhood friends, one of whom reminded me about my painting skills. This encouraged me to start sketching again, that later translated to painting, when a few years ago, my daughter gifted me an easel and colours for Mother’s Day. Since then, with the encouragement from my family and friends, I have managed to realize my talent which I would like to share with you all and capture your memories on canvas.
